Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 3, 2026

These Terms explain how families may use Khrome to create personalized storybooks, what you are responsible for, and what to expect from AI-assisted story creation.

1. Who may use Khrome

  • Khrome is designed for parents, guardians, and other adults who want to create personalized storybooks for children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or submit information about a child.
  • If you use Khrome on behalf of a child or family member, you confirm that you have the right to provide the information, photos, preferences, and story ideas you submit.

2. Your account and family information

  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the activity that happens through your account. Please use accurate information and keep child profile details current enough for the service to create age-appropriate stories.
  • Khrome may ask for names, ages, family roles, photos, interests, heritage details, and story preferences so it can personalize characters, reading level, illustrations, and themes. Please avoid submitting sensitive information that is not needed to create a story.

3. Story generation and AI output

  • Khrome uses automated and AI-assisted tools to draft stories and illustrations from the prompts and family details you provide. Generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or different from what you expected.
  • Because Khrome relies on technologies and model providers that we do not fully control, outputs may be inconsistent across requests and may include mistakes, stereotypes, confusing themes, or content that is upsetting, inappropriate, or harmful for some children, even when safety measures are in place.
  • You are responsible for reviewing each story and illustration before sharing it with a child and for supervising how the content is used. Khrome is intended for family entertainment and learning moments; it is not childcare, education, medical, mental health, legal, or safety advice.

4. Your content and permissions

  • You keep the rights you already have in photos, names, prompts, and other materials you submit. By submitting them to Khrome, you give Khrome permission to host, process, transform, display, and use them as needed to provide, improve, protect, and support the service.
  • Do not upload content that you do not have permission to use, that invades another person's privacy, or that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, exploitative, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a family storybook service.

5. Ownership of generated stories

  • Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any rights held by others, you may use the stories and illustrations generated for your account for personal, non-commercial family use.
  • Khrome and its providers retain rights in the service, software, templates, prompts, design systems, models, workflows, brand, and other underlying technology used to create the output.

6. Acceptable use

  • You agree not to misuse Khrome, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass security or usage limits, scrape or reverse engineer the service, submit malicious code, or use Khrome to create content that harms children or others.
  • We may remove content, limit access, or suspend accounts when we reasonably believe these Terms, law, child safety expectations, or the integrity of the service require it.

7. Beta features, availability, and changes

  • Khrome may include beta or experimental features. The service may change, pause, or stop features at any time, and generated story availability may depend on third-party services, storage providers, authentication providers, and AI model providers.
  • We try to keep Khrome reliable, but we do not promise that the service will always be available, error-free, or that any generated story can be recreated exactly.

8. Purchases and paid features

  • If Khrome offers paid features, prints, subscriptions, or credits, the price, billing cadence, included features, cancellation rules, and refund terms will be shown before purchase or in the checkout flow.
  • Taxes, payment processing, delivery, and third-party marketplace rules may apply depending on what you buy and where you live.

9. Privacy

  • Personalization can involve information about children and family members. Please submit only what you are comfortable using for story creation and review any privacy notices or in-product disclosures that explain how Khrome handles personal information.
  • If you need a child's or family member's information removed, use the controls available in the product or contact the Khrome team through the support channel provided in the app or on the website.

10. Disclaimers and limits of liability

  • Khrome is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Khrome disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, Khrome will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or substitute services.

11. Updates to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms as Khrome evolves. When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page, showing an in-product notice, or using another appropriate channel.
  • Your continued use of Khrome after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
